I'm In!

You are reading the blog of a soon to be official pledge of Kappa Sigma Delta. Morgan and I just got the call like 15 mins ago by the president of the sorority. I'm so excited right now. The event for tonight is a sleepover with the girls so we can all hang out.

Last night's event was super fun too. All we knew is to wear white clothes that made us look nice and to be at the sorority house at 8:30 pm. We showed up and got changed there because we were early (I was wearing a white skirt with silver sequins, a white tank, my nude UO strappy sandals and a white button down shirt with ruffles that is totally! appropriate for a job interview) and we waited on the couches for the other girls to show up and then we were told that we were going to a social at the Phi Omega Delta frat house which was a new fraternity to basically the whole sorority. It was a little nerve wracking going to a frat that none of us had been to before, but after we got there and introduced ourselves (we went around the circle and said our names and then something that no one would know just by looking at us, I said that I like to weld)everything was pretty good. It was HOT in that house though. We played a game where we got fake money to bet people to do things with. A guy asked me to cluck like a chicken for $5 (fake dollars) and I totally did and everyone got super quiet and it was kind of embarrassing, but it was too funny for me to be embarrassed. That went on throughout the night and the KSD girls took pictures together and then we all took a picture together and it was super cute and really hard to take because there were like 30 or 40 of us all crowed and piled onto a couch and the surrounding floor space in front of the couch. Then Jen (the sorority president) called the social and it turned into a party. So from 11 -12 pm all the potential pledges could drink and then at midnight all the pledges had to leave.

It was fun. :)
