Blood & Mocktail Parties

Gave blood and it was awesome except that I was there for 2 hours and it only took me 15 minutes to actually give blood. The shirt is really cool it says "Life is Unpredictable" and then it has 3 images underneath: a dinosaur skeleton running after a stick figure, a stick figure falling into a manhole and finally an alien space craft abducting a little stick man. Its pretty great. Oh, the only thing that sucked was that Michelle didn't show until I was done giving blood because she couldn't get out of her class. So that kind of sucked, but it forced me to make small talk with other people which went pretty well. So yay me. :)

The mocktail party was fun. All the alumni, active members and pledges got all dolled up and every single one of us was wearing a dress and they seemed very impressed by that. We played a name game where everyone was divided into two teams and two chairs were place facing each other and then a curtain was held up while one person from each team sat down and when the curtain was dropped the girl who said the other's name first won and the losing girl had to switch to the other team and whichever team had the most girls won. We also played another game with Mardi Gras beads. Each girl got two strings of beads and we were told that we couldn't say "sorority", "pledge" or "drink" and if anyone did and another girl called you on it you had to give them a string of beads for each word you said. That was fun too and Morgan won. :) We stayed til 11 or 11:15 pm socializing with each other and most, if not all, of the girls seem and were really nice.

I'm pooped and I have a lot of reading to do.
